Courts invest in IT development
This year Ft 1.4 billion will be available to courts for IT development, an amount sufficient to complete projects already launched but not enough for modernization of the existing stock of computers, said János Horváth, department head at the National Justice Council. The development of an integrated IT system to keep track of all financial transactions of courts started in January. A public database of court decisions will also be set up this year in line with future regulations obliging courts to make decisions accessible to the public. (Vg 4) R.G.
