Hungarian Telecom Matáv Rt has submitted the best bid for the purchase of the 51% stake of Telekom Crna Gore in Serbia and Montenegro, according to Reuters reports. Matáv offered a binding bid in December to pay euro 114 million for the stake, while its competitors offered only between euro 87-93 million. The official announcement of the tender winner is expected to be in the middle of January, but it is now very likely that Matáv could buy the Montenegran company.
