Vegetable processing plant for Vasmegyer
Norwegian company Dtech AS will lay the foundation stone of a 1,700 sq m vegetable drying and packaging plant in Vasmegyer, East Hungary today. The company, which is realizing the project through a Ft 1.3 billion greenfield investment, will process corn and peas in the plant, for foreign markets. Dtech AS plans to process 550 tons of vegetables in the Vasmegyer plant annually, and if the investment proves successful, continue investment in East Hungary. (Vg 13) R.G.
