Audi commences Euro 8 mln investment
Audi Hungaria Motor Kft. started production in the second phase of their investment in Győr yesterday, which cost Euro 8 million. The 5000 sqm center of the first phase was finished in 2001, providing work for 50 engineers. In the second phase, there have been 5 new high capacity engine diagnostic systems established, which have now doubled the workforce. 10% of the investment was sponsored by the Research and Technology Innovation Fund, a tender called by the Ministry of Education. Audi in Győr had a turnover of Euro 3,722 billion in 2003. (Nv 6, Vg 12, Ng 5, Nb 16) E.C.
