Magyar Cetelem Bank Rt had nine-month pre-tax profit of Ft 3.7 billion, 22% higher than in the same period of 2003. Leader of the consumer loan market, the bank granted loans of Ft 30 billion between January and October in total, 10% up on the previous year. Personal loans increased by 20%, credit cards by 16%, while commercial loans remained at the same level. (Vg 18) G.R.
