EU recruiting more personnel
The European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) has announced a second round of applications for 50 administrator and 90 assistant positions from the new EU countries, the deadline is Feb. 3. EPSO is seeking to recruit administrators with a university degree and 6 to 7 years of experience for positions paying a monthly Euro 4,800, and assistants with a high school degree and a minimum of 8 years' experience, with 30 of the latter required to work in HR and 60 in finance, for a monthly salary of Euro 2,900. Of the 2,908 international applicants who made the mark in the first round, including 593 Hungarians, 40% were offered positions. (Vg 1) P.P.
