Tsunami loss caused to travel agencies
Ft 100-120 million is the preliminary estimate of the financial loss caused by the tsunami to the 8 hardest hit charter travel agents. An overlook of damage has been summed up by the Association of Hungarian Travel Agents and Tour Operators and was sent to the Hungarian Tourism Office, already working on the initiative to forward it to the cabinet next week. One of the most popular travel agencies IBUSZ Kft had a direct loss of Ft 13 million, and, taking into account the loss of profit, it may reach Ft 20 million. (Vg 1) E.C.
