Less layoffs and more new jobs
Manufacturing industry dismissed most employees in the first six month this year in Hungary, more than nine thousand workers lost their jobs in mass layoffs in this sector alone. However, employment balance is positive as thirteen thousand more new jobs were created than abolished and the number of dismissals also decreased. Manufacturing companies face excess workforce in general and a shortage of labour in key specialist jobs at the same time, experts claim.
