New deficit numbers each day
This year''s government deficit will be larger than that of 2004, Világgazdaság has learned. EU statistical office Eurostat wants to include some additional Ft 547 billion into the accrual deficit according to ESA standards. This is a result of entering motorway construction costs, the so-called 13th month salaries for civil servants, some lower than expected revenues and higher than expected expenditures.
