T-Mobile chief quits
T-Mobile founder and CEO András Sugár is leaving his position as of 6 September. He had another vision about the future of his company than the management of owner Magyar Telekom Rt. His tasks will be taken over by Magyar Telekom CEO Elek Straub for the time being, a new T-Mobile CEO will be appointed in October. Magyar Telekom seems to be going on with its plan to incorporate T-Mobile into its own structures, despite earlier denials. Analysts diagree about the rationality of these plans, as it is not clear whether major cost savings might be achieved by this move or not.
