Unemployed graduates
There are more graduate unemployed economists than hairdressers, dressmakers or bricklayers, latest data from the Employment Office shows. More than 1,500 graduate teachers can not find a job according to the statistics of the Office, and over 900 economists, 500 agricultural engineers and 400 lawyers have the same problem. Graduates with an ability to speak foreign languages have better chances to be hired in the labour market, experts claim. At the same time, hypermarkets can not find enough workers for shop assistant jobs as tough working conditions with three shifts and seven-days-a-week shopping hours are not attractive for young people.
