Egy erős ciklon csapott le Oroszország távol-keleti Kamcsatka-félszigetére, erős szelet és rekordmennyiségű havat hozva.

 A térség központjában, Petropavlovszk–Kamcsatszkijban két férfi vesztette életét, amikor a háztetőkről lezúduló hó maga alá temette őket. A mentőszolgálatok folyamatosan tisztítják az utakat és a tetőket. A boltokban ideiglenes készlethiány alakult ki.

A heves hóesés és az erős szél miatt számos utat lezártak, a tömegközlekedést ideiglenesen felfüggesztették, járatkésések és -törlések nehezítették a közlekedést.
